I like Pendraken ECW figures – but not their cast-on pikes.
I see Lancer Miniatures also make 10mm ECW figures, but the foot have separate wire pikes.
Does anyone know whether the Lancer figures are compatible with Pendraken in terms of height and build?
Thanks in anticipation.

I also dislike bendy wire pikes, so while I also like the Pendraken figures I looked elsewhere when I started raising an ECW army. Also, at that time (more than 10 years ago) the Pendraken ECW range was a bit limited and I disliked the cavalry figures.

I just miked a Pendraken Renaissance infantryman against a Lancer ECW pikeman; the Lancer might be just a tad smaller but I consider them easily close enough to use in same units.

Some additional thoughts…

Pendraken has remodeled their ECW cavalry, and the new models look (I haven't bought any yet) much better than the older ones.

Old Glory also has a 10mm ECW figure range. The cavalry is compatible with the Pendraken figures and are individual figures, not strip figures like some of the infantry. The Old Glory mounted and dismounted dragoons are also individual figures and compatible with Pendraken, albeit not as well sculpted as Pendraken. I use both Old Glory and Pendraken cavalry, even in the same units and while I am a bit picky about figure compatibility I am not bothered at all with using Pendraken and Old Glory cavalry.

The Old Glory 10mm ECW pikemen are cast in strips of five figures with very thick bases compared with Pendraken or most other 10mm figure ranges. With that said, the Old Glory pikemen don't have cast pikes and once I add wire pikes, paint the figures and base them (I base three 5-figure strips on a 30mm square base) they look nice. I use Pendraken musketeers (8 per 30mm square base in two ranks) as part of the infantry unit (1 base of pike and 2 of musketeers per unit) and, to my eye at least, the Old Glory pikemen and Pendraken musketeers look fine even in the same units albeit not mixed on the same base.

As for Lancer 10mm ECW figures… They are generally nice, but it appears that the sculptor went for "realistic" proportions rather than the emphasized relief use by some sculptors (oversized hands and facial features particularly popular in fantasy figures for example). The hands in the Lancer 10mm pikemen are very thin and small (normal sized) and so provide a small gluing service and I worry about the hands being fragile and breaking off the figure. The muskets are also very thin (probably scale accurate) and the swords on the cavalry are also very thin (and not attached to the figure at another point to provide support) and I doubt those swords will survive many games w/o breaking off.

Anyway, in my opinion (and with experience of Lancer, Pendraken and Old Glory figures) while there are some minor differences in size between the figures, once painted and based in units such minor differences simply aren't noticed.

Noticed this after edit time passed:

"The hands in the Lancer 10mm pikemen are very thin and small (normal sized) and so provide a small gluing service and I worry about the hands being fragile and breaking off the figure."

I meant that the Lancer pikemen figure's hands provide a small gluing surface.

I think of autocorrect as a tiny electronic elf who tries very hard to help me, but who is also very drunk.

@ Dennis.
Love the thought of that drunken elf in my keyboard!

Thanks, Dennis, for your most helpful reply. Once things are back to normal, I think I'll be combining Lancer pikemen and musketeers with Pendraken cavalry and artillery.
Thanks again!

Before you make a final decision, don't forget that Caliver Books also sell a range, Minifigs/AIM, which is quite extensive and worth a look. Much of my armies is made of thesefigures, and their cavalry mix well with a Pendraken on the same base. The pikes are cast on, but at least they are the right length, unlike Pendraken's short spears. I have had some thousands of these figures for over twenty years, and have still not descended to spaghetti!
