This month's new gallery is 15mm Arab Conquest (622 to 660) … a wargames classic if ever there was one – the army that conquered half the known world in just a few decades. The army of Khalid ibn al-Walid, who destroyed the Byzantines at Yarmuk.
Figures from numerous sources but Museum Miniatures and Essex predominate.
OK … this army combines the refurbishing of some existing cavalry and oddments with a new core of infantry from my strategic reserves (the lead pile)creating the options for lists (a) and (b) results in quite a few figures by DBA standards – but you can read about that on the blog: Shows North/Phil's Arabs … and more pictures, of course.
Please consider yourselves invited to drop by.
