I am struggling to find a clear and simple guide/image of the flag/standard used by French cavalry in ww2. I have seen pictures showing they have them. I am not expecting anyone to sell them but need an image to print some…although it may be an earlier period flag would work in 15mm. Any ideas?

Did they actually carry them in the field?

It just looks like a tri-color to me.

They probably didn't but the models I have include a standard bearer so I wanted to put them on for fun. I have seen a photo of cavalry ivwith their flag on what looks like active service, so it is possible they used them.
Thanks for the pic. I have seen that one and wasnt quite sure what decoration it had.

They can be very cool, yeah.

Very nice. Do you have a picture of the design…writing etc on the flag?

They don't look so good on a photo, but in real life I'm happy :)
