LOL Once again, the American superior intellect fails to grasp good old British comedy, based as it is on simple and straightfoward ideas. I rather like his Alt-WW2 stuff depicted in the post and will be observing further dispatches with interest. |

intellect fails to grasp good old British comedy, That would be true for my dad but mom was a British War Bride (Dad was her second husband because he served in the South Pacific in the US Navy). So I understand British comedy with ease. |

Thanks, far too kind…. in all seriousness I was so pleased to see the post made it to the 'Utter Drivel Message Board' – Yes thanks TMP for providing such a board and I do recommend checking it out: TMP link I always enjoyed the US sense of nonesense, some all time greats 'Marty and Rowan's laugh in', Mork and Mindy, The current President…. ooops I don't mean nothing political or religious just he has me in hysterics daily:) I'm off to do some serious stuffs now.. |

Ashcroft: National comedy tastes aside (I'm an American raised by Anglophiles & watched Monty Python on PBS & syndicated reruns of "Bennie Hill" all through my arguably misspent youth) -- did you make those "Brutish" infantry yourself??? If so, well done, and if not, good job getting them and nice work painting them! |

Yes MaD Guroo the Brutish are a bought project dragged out of my cupboard during Lockdown, I bought them about a year ago. They are from Hysterical Miniatures which was a start up and has now vanished! I'd love to buy the masters if anyone can track them down they are super good. I've even looked around to find figs for sale and only found the odd one. Anyone know a sculptor called DARKO?? I think you are all so lucky to have Brutish blood even if a little watered down, even us 'pure bloods' are mongrels!! |
