Review of the rare and classic Marx Playset. The Gallant Men. Wish they had made a "Combat" Playset instead, but nonetheless a great addition to any WW2 collection.

Nice finds! That's an interesting site. That Combat Playset is no where near what Marx could have produced, but then again Marx always seemed to push out a Playset for a tv show when that show was either declining or being canceled.

Speaking of Gallant, my favorite set was Captain Gallant. I recall Woolworths selling bags of figures from the set so I had quite a foreign legion collection. When I went to college, my younger brother melted most of the figures, dropping the flaming plastic on ant hills.
