"This was an International Harvester agricultural tractor fitted with a box-like superstructure which had loopholes for rifle fire from within. It was named after New Zealand Defence Minister whose idea it was. Four vehicles were built in 1940-41."

!"Schofield" Wheel-and-Track Tank. Named after its designer, this vehicle was conceived for local production utilising chassis parts from the standard GMC 6cwt commercial truck, and engine from the same source, and suspension units from a Universal Carrier. Open-topped turret had 2pdr gun. Wheels were used for road, while tracks for cross-country driving. Only prototypes were built."
