I've painted up some old Minifigs French Chasseurs a Cheval for a mate.

Great job. I enjoy the simplicity of the older figures.

Nice!

One of my first metal units was a 45-man regiment of those guys, painted as Marbot's 23rd Chasseurs. I still game with them 50 years later.

Very nicely done!

My entire Napoleonic forces are "old school" figures – vintage MinmiFigs, Scrubys, Der Kriegspielers, Hinchliffes, and a few others, even one venerable Airfix mounted Highland officer.

Man, 45? Thats way too many…

Nice but what they hey? You mention "1st and 2nd Battalions of the Neuchatel Regiment".
The Neuchatel, being an 'territorial' Guard for Berthier, I thought was only ever a single battalion. At least thats how I modelled it 40 years ago…
