With the latest UK lockdown in force, I have been playing (and filming) a lot of solo wargames as an example for people of how they can pass the time. My latest video is a solo Square Bashing AAR based on the 1918 Battle of Ors. Watch it here (and please subscribe!):

Nice AAR and great minis – plus very interesting how much fun you can have on a fairly small table

Cheers, yeah, SB is great for the table size. It means you can play on a pretty small dining table, or make it even smaller if you reduce the size of the squares from 6 inch to 4 inch.

Very nice indeed.

Um two things. First off I believe the rules call for terrain features to be two blocks.

One thing I can't figure out in the RFCM sets is if units can face any face side of a block or if they always have to face towards the enemies base line?

Again very nice work. Helps me a lot.

Thanks, yep, in the rules some terrain is in two blocks, but I changed it for the purpose of the scenario. And units can face towards any direction they like as long as it's orthogonal.
I'm glad it helped!
