Anyone know of sources for buildings to support Baccus' 6mm Samurai? I'm aware of the paper buildings and the Swedish (?) company which makes beautiful models but appears to be a bit unreliable.

irregularminiatures.co.uk do a samurai castle – click on 6mm at the bottom of the page then scenics and accessories on the left hand side – it is about 2/3rds of the way down the page. They also do a Chinese town.

link make HOU26 – Shou Sugi Ban Style Dojo – a generic oriental style house.

I saw some plastic models of Japanese castles on ebay at some point. Can't remember the exact scale but since I mostly do 6mm they must have been close. If I remember correctly they did a few different ones.

Yeah, 2d6 Wargaming will be bringing the rest of the Mura range back into production, including some previously unreleased models I think.

Oshiro have had some under design for a while now, but the release keep getting delayed. They may be out this year.

The old Castle Arts range fit quite well with Mura too, Pendraken now have these but they haven't put them back into production yet.

Rabalais, thank you—they all look great and I'm ready to buy as soon as they are available

Does ScaleCreep carry them?

Yes, I can confirm that I (Mura Miniatures) have sold the range to 2D6 Wargaming a few months ago. 2D6 Wargaming is now gradually working on making better molds from the originals and getting the entire range online.

I'm quite confident that this will mean that the miniatures will have nicer castings in the future compared to my very amateur level of casting skills.
