I have seen at least one figure company in the UK suggest that the Royal Mail would not allow shipments abroad, but hadn't seen any other discussion and I have seen several ads and emails from UK based companies that did NOT mention any problems with shipping outside the UK.

I was going to send out some emails to companies I was considering for purchases when I received an email from the Wargames Foundry which included a link to the Royal Mail with a list of countries to which the Royal Mail was and was not shipping.

As I have not seen that information elsewhere I thought I'd post it here for anyone who might be interested:

I looked at that website as well and it seems that The Royal Mail has suspended mail only those countries who are 'on suspension' . Most countries do not come into that category and yet some UK companies have suspended overseas orders quoting Royal Mail instructions.

This is very confusing as I have ordered from, and received orders from, a number of UK companies.

From the link:

"Most major export routes remain open and we continue to accept and process mail. Specifically, Royal Mail's international services to the USA remain operational."

One UK gaming company stated that his local post office was closing at end of day today (Friday). He was able to post one batch of orders but the post office rejected a second batch. He tried 3 post offices but with the same result.

I've received two orders from the UK to the US since the zombie apocalypse began.

There do seem to be localised problems in both the Post Office and Royal Mail systems. Many crown PO have closed and some areas are entirely dependant on sub post offices which may be unable to stay open if hit by isolation rules.

We posted two parcels recently; one arrived the following day and the other is yet to arrive after 5 days.

Our local postie has said some delivery offices are very short of staff due to people self-isolating or actually sick. If a local delivery office can't process parcels they do very rarely instruct local PO to refuse them – I've known it happen to me once in the past.
