More piratical action this time using a small pirate junk fleet against a single VOC warship.

Another cracking game Barry and I like the junks.
Did you ever do a write up of our 3rd game?

jocknroll02 Apr 2020 4:30 a.m. PST

I did do the write up Dave. It is scheduled for the blog over the next week or so. I also completed the fifth game in the series which was the capture of the Dutch Herring fleet of Harwich by an English squadron…. or, not as the case may be.

jurgenation – thanks
I have searched for this book and author and came up with nothing. Can you point me in the right direction please?

The book you seek is entitled

Lost Colony: The Untold Story of China's First Great Victory over the West

by Tonio Andrade, Princeton University Press, 2011.

Great book on a subject I knew nothing about. I look forward to seeing what you could do with it on the tabletop. Your recent naval posts have been a real inspiration and have resulted in the resurrection of my long dormant 1/600 american civil war on the water project. Thank you.

Thanks OBW for both the kind words and the book details. I have ordered it. I hope to be able to produce some scenarios from its contents!
