This afternoon my regular opponent and I tried playing a couple of games using Zoom video Conferencing.

It seemed to work okay.

Major General Pettygree and I are a planning to play a game over Zoom in the near future.

Your photos actually look good with a little bit of photo editing in iPhotos. The pictures with the sunny window in the background are hard to fix, though.

Thanks – I am not bothered about the pictures – I could have cleaned them up but wanted to show it as it was…

Interesting, as there was this piece in TheHill.com today:

We've done a few multiplayer games using Skype, which went OK if a little chaotic!

You might want to check the IT press about the security and scalability issues with the Zoom platform.

I don't hey why everyone is suddenly obsessed with zoom! You can vide conference over Skype or about 40 other programs

For my technologically challenged opponent it was the easiest ting to use…

Looking forward to it my dear Der Alte Fritz,
---
Three days ago the CEO of ZOOM was interviewed on the Good Morning America television news show. Safeguards were discussed such as:

Pick your people and invite only them to be involved.
When they sign on, the moderator has to let them in.
No advertising to the planet.
Fewer people involved, the better.
ZOOM does not retain/sell information.
I forgot what else was said.
---
Carry on,
Respectfully,

Zoom have just introduced mandatory meeting passwords and use of the waiting room for each meeting, so they are listening to concerns…
