Somewhere in the Polish Eastern Borderlands. Test battle of the Polish Blue Army against a company from the West Ukrainian People's Republic and a mounted Red Army unit. All figures are 1:72. Hope you like them

Nice. Who made the figures?

Battle fantasy))) Rather, Ukrainians would fight along with the Poles against the Bolsheviks.

The "West Ukrainian" People's Republic is a reference to the Galicians (UGA / UHA). They fought the Poles as part of the Red Army for a short time in early 1920 as the Red Ukrainian Galician Army.

Of course the figures in blue are East Ukrainians, either Directory or with Petliura, as the UGA wore Austrian Grey largely.

I know, Mark. But in fact, this army did not fight on the side of the Reds.
However – this is just a game and, I hope, it was a pleasure for the participants)))

I could not react earlier, as new member.
Thank you for kind words. I will develope my project.
All the figures are 1:72.

Red cavalry – Orion 72011 Red 1st Cavalry
Polish Blue Army – the mix of Strelets M130 WWI Polish Infantry (Blue Army) and M126 Serbian Infantry in Winter Uniform (but I made Polish hat "rogatywka" from the miliput)
Ukrainians (Blue Coat Brigade) – Strelets M017 Russian Infantry in Winter Uniform wilh some razor work on the heads
Armoured car – resin kit, GreenMiniatures (small polish company).
Artillery – HaT 8161 WWI French 75mm Cannon (with Late War Crew)

This is nor sci-fi. Poland fouth with both Ukrainian states that time not only with Red Army. Some elements and soldiers of Blue Coat Div. deserted and fought on the side of the Red Army. But of course, it is only a game.

During a forced stay at home, when it's easier to save time for painting, I developed my Blue Army forces into an infantry battalion. I don't think I will need more. I painted the battalion command, the company command and 5 infantry bases. My battalion now has a command, observers – with pigeons, three company commands and 3 companies with 4 platoons each. What else will I need – hmg support – 2-3 platoons and maybe a platoon of light mortars.

Strelets M017 Russian Infantry in Winter Uniform is possibly the most versatile set in 1/72 plastic for the RCW-related conflicts I know of. It is their older sculpting style which was not top of the class but still fine and plenty of room for conversion and improvements:
