Another Alto Cenepa scenario – FAP MIrage 2000's intercepting FAE Jaguar's on a ground strike mission.

I played the game with my 12yr old daughter…she thrashed me (again) but not before I shot down one of her Jaguars at the last minute.

Suggest moving to WWI, she won't have a chance as the open cockpit will mess up her hair.

Home schooling at it's finest Jim. Just not sure who was teaching who a lesson :)

Kids and women, universally regarded as THE most dangerous gamers going.

I backstabbed a woman gamer in a Limeys and Slimeys game once. She vendetta'ed me thru 3 subsequent games. 2 of the were other rules/periods.

Woof!

Fantastic, Jim, great looking and very interesting, I need to take a look at "Target Locked On."

And you should have known better than to play with a kid when dice are involved! Sure is fun anyway though, isn't it? ;)

Jack

Kids learn very quickly.

Thanks for sharing your pics and battle report.

I look forward to reading the Round 2 AAR soon.

Oh, and by the way, I forgot to say that I love the paint jobs on your aircraft. They look superb!

Part Two – Revenge of the Dad – is going to be played out today. This time it's my two J-7 Mig 21 knock offs vs the sprogs Su7b Fitters somewhere over Outer Mongolia 🤪

Thresher0131 Mar 2020 8:23 a.m. PST

Neat. I'm looking forward to it.

I wasn't aware Alto Cenepa was a "real" thing. Thought perhaps it was just a local skirmish you conjured up, but it is an interesting situation, with small numbers of aircraft.

Thanks for widening my air war history knowledge base.

boggler31 Mar 2020 10:36 a.m. PST

Yes it really was a conflict…very interesting and with lots of different aircraft involved, although not that much in the way of actual engagements.
