I actually think it's more that miniature gamers aren't too aware of the many solitaire friendly boardgames that are out there. Just a short list of some pretty good (although some can take hundreds of hours) games: London's Burning-Avalon Hill Ambush-Victory Games Silent War/Steel Wolves-Compass Games The Hunters/Silent Victory-GMT Games Enemy Coast Ahead-GMT Games All of the DVG solitaire games; Phantom Leader, Tiger Leader, etc. Space Empires solitaire scenarios Melee/Wizard adventures
