This would have been the weekend of the now postponed annual convention of the Seven Years War Association, my favorite convention of the year. Instead of grousing or wallowing in self-pity, I am consoling myself by continuing to add flourishes to the scenario that I was going to run so that it will be even better when the convention actually happens.

I've also been perusing my Flickr albums of past SYWA conventions, which has whetted my anticipation of wargame glories yet to come. With 22 states and many other countries in various states of lockdown, it may be that some of you have more free time than usual and would enjoy browsing through some of them as well. (I actually have somewhat less free time than usual because the company I work for has been designated "essential" for supplying packaging to the food and pharmaceutical industries, and makers of Personal Protective Equipment, and we are working overtime to keep up with the demand.)

Cheers everyone, chin up and stay safe.

Beautiful figures, perhaps someday I actually be able to get to one of those conventions.

Say hello to everyone back in Minnesota, I do miss dropping into the shop to see all my friends.
