Great game AAR. How do you think it would worked as straight 5 Parsecs? And I didn't understand the Bughunt rule? |

Thanks Gents. It got a little dramatic in the retelling ;) Dragon 6 – I'm unsure of which Bughunt rule you mean; you might need to quote me where I'm not being clear. Keith F. |

5 Parsecs from Home/Full Metal Anorak/Bughunt That Bughunt in the rules string |

Dragon 6 – The "Bughunt" in the rules string is an expansion title (Bughunt) for Five Parsecs from Home. So I'm using two sets of rules, plus a supplement. 5P as a series offers a Salvage Crew setting, a Police Setting, as well as a Bughunt setting. Mini-characters can be rotated through different campaign settings. As it turns out, it isn't always Bugs in the Bughunt, sometimes it's crazed robots, sometimes it's zombie crew. It keeps the campaign from becoming too repetitive. The actual 5P combat rules mechanics are…fine. They are D6 based and pretty much exchangeable with any system one prefers. That's not a bad thing. The beauty of the game is how it runs the AI, handles individual figures, and places them in a campaign. I hope I've explained it a bit better. Regards, Keith F. |

Oh absolutely. I see the Robots were the Bugs. I suppose I should have groked that but I did not. I expected Aliens instead of … well… robots. Is it just me or do the Robots look like Maximilian from Disney's Black Hole? |

Dragon6: The bots are RAFM's old Traveller line. So…probably you? :) Regards, Keith F. |
