Thought I would show off my latest efforts: AWI British and Loyalists. They are mostly Hinchliffe with a few Perry plastic thrown in.

Those are a couple of nice looking units.

They look wonderful! I have a few of the old Hinchliffe units in my army as well.

The Hinchcliffe Butlers Rangers and British Lights were some of my favorite figures.

Timmo uk26 Mar 2020 10:11 a.m. PST

They look great.

BillyNM26 Mar 2020 10:13 a.m. PST

Lovely! I was always a Hinchliffe man back in the day, and still am.

doc mcb26 Mar 2020 10:19 a.m. PST

Does anyone still sell them?

Hinchliffe are available via Hinds Figures

I loved that line and had 100s! I especially love the firing pose--- the way he was leaning slightly forward.

I always loved the lean (and standing tall) look of Hinchliffe figs. Nice units Jeffers!

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen! I'll probably stay with the Hinchliffe/Perry mix for my British line infantry because it worked surprisingly well.

Hinchliffe now taken over by Lancashire Games and S and A Scenics, hopefully the figures will be online soon

historygamer23 Mar 2021 5:05 p.m. PST

Those figures hold up well. Very nice.

Better crack on then, Allan! I'll need some more soon…

Strangely apt, as I type the top rated rule set featured is my favourite: Loose Files.

I love Hinchliffe AWI figures. Period.

dantheman26 Mar 2021 10:15 a.m. PST

As a kid I had a book on Battles of the American Revolution with similar figures painted by the late Peter Gilder. Spent hours with that book. I still have it.

John the OFM26 Mar 2021 10:16 a.m. PST

Me too. Very inspirational.

Jeffers26 Mar 2021 4:00 p.m. PST

Some of them were painted by Dennis Coleman from Hovels.
