Did the First Special Service Force have any M29 Weasel's in action at Anzio?

I don't think so. Many M29s ended up elsewhere. link I know after reading a number of books, journals, etc. At Anzio the 1SSF ran a lot of aggressive dismounted patrol ops, etc., to keep the Germans busy, gain intel, etc. link

I can see no where the 1SSF used M29s at Anzio or elsewhere. Of the special equipment listed used by the 1SSF I can't find the M29 anywhere. link Even though the M29s were specifically design for the 1SSF's use in Norway.

But that mission was cancelled. As their target was already primarily destroyed by Norwegian Commandos plus RAF bombings, etc. link
