Hi Guys, Long time listener, first time caller! I've been trying to find the answer to this particular question: What FoW books can be used in 4th edition? I have Blitzkrieg (for my EW French), Barbarossa and Gates of Moscow (for my E-MW Soviets). Do I need to add or replace any of these? |

The old books will work. But they are being replaced with new, updated 4th edition books. If you play tournaments you need to worry. But if you and your opponents use the old books, you're good. |

As above. For now there are only Mid-War and limited Late-War books available. However, we've easily played with 3e lists and 4e mechanics. I fear it will be a long wait on Early-War or the Pacific. |

You don't really need to buy the books now. It's all digital through the FOW website, supported by the purchase of card deck for your army. |

I have Blitzkrieg (for my EW French), Barbarossa and Gates of Moscow (for my E-MW Soviets). Do I need to add or replace any of these? If you're going full conversion to 4th ed., you can get the new MW army books for Stalingrad (which differ from the 3rd ed. books) shown below. There are also unit and command cards for them. 4th ed. EW hasn't begun yet and won't be available until the LW releases are completed. Probably 2022 at the earliest.

You can use this for EW with the old books , its still on Flames of War Digital or sometimes can be found on ebay

Thanks, guys, really appreciate the help. Decided to move to 4th edition since hadn't played 3rd in I don't recall how many years and wanted to get my sons involved. Just needed to figure out which books were good to use. R, Jim |
