"Miss Fisher embarks on a new adventure in a globe trotting romp of mystery and mayhem across the exotic 1920s deserts of the Negev, glamorous manor-house ballrooms, and the darkened back alleys of London in order to find missing treasure, solve murders and break aviation records. After freeing a young Bedouin girl from her unjust imprisonment in Jerusalem, Phryne Fisher begins to unravel a decade-old mystery concerning priceless emeralds, ancient curses and the truth behind the suspicious disappearance of Shirin's forgotten tribe. British aristocrats whose lives were impacted by the events of World War I in Mandated Palestine become caught up in the mystery as well!"

Terrific series and actress despite the feminist bent.

Have been waiting for this myself since first reading of it last year. My wife introduced me to the series and I became a fan in short order--and why not?

The show had class, authentic costumes, and a post-Great War vibe that also felt just "right."

…And that Essie Davis could melt an iceberg at 100 yards with a "look" definitely has something to do with it….

I'm a little surprised no one (I'm aware of) has seen the incredible possibilities of the show and its characters in a Pulp Gaming context!

Gotta see this at the first opportunity!

Needs more tentacles and cosmic horror.

Or a guest appearance of David Suchet.
