link Hi, It's time for another episode of the occasional Troops on Parade feature here at Yarkshire Gamer, a good excuse to get an entire collection on the table for a good photo and video sesh. Today it's the turn of my 28mm Desert Italians who after a recent blitz on vehicles is now pretty much finished. The blog link has lots more pics and a link to a YouTube video review of the army. Ken, that is incredible and the painting is exceptional. I see that you are like me in wanting to field a large force. Well done. |

Ken, that is incredible and the painting is exceptional. It is a beautiful collection, isn't it! Wow – that is a lot of Italians! Well done A lot, and a great variety! Don't know if you had a lot of choices, but you seem to have chosen all the right stuff! - Colonial troops and Bersaglieri to supplement regular infantry troops - A 100mm Howitzer to suppliment your 2 75mm field guns - A triacle to go with your motorcycles - 20mm Solothurn AT rifles -- yikes, those are a catch! - Do I also see a 65mm Infantry Gun (beside the 47mm Breda AT guns)? Really quite a collection. Beautiful stuff! -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

Ken -- Fantastic force! Wow! Mark -- "I'd like some 65mm Infantry Guns but no one makes them." No, you didn't see a 65mm infantry gun. Jim |

Absolutely stunning force. And lovely to see someone do the Italians justice. Now that your British and Italians are "finished" is DAK next? |

Hi everyone, Many thanks for the kind comments, my armies always seem to start with a small plan and spiral out of control. Mark, as Jim noticed I would love a 65mm Infantry Gun but haven't been able to find one, there are three 47mm Anti Tank Guns there which look similar from a distance. arealdeadone – I do have a few DAK and I'm working on some vehicles at the moment but we our game timeline ends in Dec 41 so I won't be going too mad on them. ultimatewargamer, there is a link to their website on the Facebook page but it doesn't seem to be working. Someone mentioned a couple of weeks ago that it was off line, hope all is well with them. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

Beautiful army! Congratulations on getting all that done. A few years ago I acquired the 65mm mountain gun from Brigade Games. I think he custom makes them on his own. It is a very nice and unique model that I like to pull out and use just because nobody else has one! Look for it under his WWI products. It is still listed on his website. Www.brigadegames.com |

Those motorcycles look great. Perhaps you should do Vichy French next, to stick with the desert theme? |
