"La gale, la tuberculose ou encore la rougeole… Depuis une dizaine d'années, ces maladies, tenues pour disparues, qui évoquent saleté et misère liées à un passé archaïque révolu dans l'imaginaire collectif, sont réapparues en France.

En 2017, les médecins ont aussi détecté plusieurs cas de scorbut. Longtemps craint des équipages de marins, qu'il décimait, ce mal trouve son origine dans une alimentation dépourvue de vitamine C. Comment expliquer le retour d'une telle maladie, si facile à prévenir, dans la France du XXIe siècle ?…"
