I had long been tempted to buy these figures, but now the dam broke: I bought them all, and some infantry and artillery on top, to complete the legion. So nearly all the pictures of figures in this post are Perry miniatures…"

is a big fan of the Age of Sail, and these ships really speak to him - he loves transitional eras, and the Anglo-Dutch Wars was one of those.
