…Disinformation To Sow Panic In The West. "Russian media have deployed a "significant disinformation campaign" against the West to worsen the impact of the coronavirus, generate panic and sow distrust, according to a European Union document seen by Reuters. The Kremlin denied the allegations on Wednesday, saying they were unfounded and lacked common sense. The EU document said the Russian campaign, pushing fake news online in English, Spanish, Italian, German and French, uses contradictory, confusing and malicious reports to make it harder for the EU to communicate its response to the pandemic…" Main page link Amicalement Armand |

It's not blaming then for the pandemic but the disinformation to create and inflame panic and confusion. This something that the Russian services have been very active at and very good at over the past number of years. They are very effective at turning our infatuation with social media against the western powers. Destabilize the west by turning them against themselves and Russian is able to gain more influence and status on the world stage. |

Both. The two are NOT mutually exclusive. They don't/didn't call it the "Wuhan Virus" for nothing, since that was the epicenter of the start of the crisis. |

Shhh, that's supposed to be a secret. Conspiracy theorists might think that it was a stealth attack on the USA, to wreck our economy. Looks like it might be working, due to predictable over-reactions here, if the Chinese are playing the long game. The cure seems to be worse than the virus. |
