Any 1/100 figs out there that could pass for the Rat Patrol team? I have the jeeps but need a passable Troy and Hitch fig. I have already painted up some figs to pass of in 15mm:

Sgt. Rock, DC Comics
St. Saunders, Combat
Jeb Stuart, GI Combat comic
Captain America, Marvel comics

I would love to add the Rat Patrol and Nick Fury and his Howling Commandos (Marvel comics) to the lot. Love that dumb dumb Doogan.

Get a few Digger heads and it would be easy to make some. Basically a mix of US and British wear

Ah, I miss my Rat Patrol boxed model/game set from my youth.

Not sure where that went missing to.

Reruns are thankfully back on TV, and MGs and hand grenades can indeed stop tanks, or be well-placed into halftracks rather easily, when thrown from a moving jeep.

Need a WWII helmet head, 1 ACW head, a Australian WWII
(actually its Rhodesian, and a British in a Beret, seems a easy shopping list.

Don't forget to paint your M3 halftracks and M9 Priests SP guns a tan-pink to represent the DAK forces…..

A lot of people believe that Hitch's kepi was an ACW Rebel artillery kepi when in fact it was a French Foreign Legion kepi.

I still have a couple of the sand dunes and a few palm fronds from the original set.

Thresher0118 Mar 2020 2:33 p.m. PST

Neat!

Thanks for sharing those photos.

I loved the sand dunes, and forgot about the palm trees.

Of course, the little jeeps, tanks, and men were good fun too, especially for replaying episodes from the TV show on a Saturday morning or afternoon.

I always wondered why Aurora never included German figures in the box considering the Anzio set had them.
