That model has always impressed me…the carriage lamps are simply superb and a huge challenge to scratch build. Six horses for this however and I think it looks even better with the undercarriage and wheels in vermillion red.

Those hussars would never have been allowed that close to Bonaparte, his escort of Chasseurs a Cheval would have ringed him and ensured that.

Very nice work and thanks for finding it. We cannot get too much of Napoleonic carriages (anyone see the opening scenes of "Belgravia" and build up to Quatre Bras? Coaches were just right!)

I'm no expert, but I think those "hussars" are his Chasseurs a Cheval of the Imperial Guard.
