Go to this gentleman's blog – you will find his games and painting projects for ACW with SP:

I've played in a couple. He's an excellent painter and a big fan of Fat Lardies products. Nice guy too!!!

I just started ACW using SP

Right now have more questions than answers.
Been searching but some issues are not being found.

A) Artillery, is there a load, 2 AP and an Aim/ 1 or 2 AP?

B) Shooting at Artillery, there is a adjust for hit and another for damage?

Thanks

Hi there Tony,
I've played 1 or two games of SP using ACW. good fun.
I'll try to answer your questions. don't forget to try the TFL forum.

A) cannons start loaded, and take 2 actions to reload. Firing is always 1 action but you can fire controlled or uncontrolled. uncontrolled firing would mean 2 actions to load, 1 to fire, but would need to roll on the chart to do anything else.

controlled firing is 2 to load, 1 to aim and 1 to fire. aiming also gives you a bonus to hit.

B) there's no adjustment when trying to shoot at artillery from artillery itself, just the normal modifiers on page 45. but any hits on artillery are treated as one level cover better.

hope that helps.
