Hello Everyone,
General Pettygree's Studio presents the imagineered Jacobite Battle of Loch Lochy here:

link

We've not had a Jacobite tabletop game in several years. It was time. The story unfolds as is customary with me by briefly captioned photos and dialogue. I hope this increases drama, entertainment and more. Give it a try if you have not read these stories before.

It is March 7, 1745/2020. Go there now to rally around Bonnie Prince Charlie's Standard or his opposing Government Forces.

Respectfully,
Bill P.

I've never seen anyone model dust clouds before!

For some reason, seven of the sixteen photos are not showing up on my screen. I do like what I see. Just curious why you didn't choose a green terrain cloth? I've been to Scotland and it's very green (all that rain).

Same here with regard to images. I think Clan Gordon is among the Jacobite skirmishers, the paintwork being fine enough to distinguish the yellow overstripes, though the usual set of this tartan is nothing other than the Black Watch/Government Tartan with that slight difference. Liked the dialogue, too, in these postings. Suas Alba!

Thank you Guys,
---
When you have time, tell me numerically from top to bottom which photos you can see please.
---
The skirmishers were painted in the 1970s when there was not a lot known. We use what we have.

Appreciated,

Not an adverse criticism at all! I was meaning to commend the painting. Now to revisit and check which images don't appear.

7. Government troops advance on low ridge
10. Picquet
11. Albanie
13.
14.
15. "Must report…"

and final photograph of "Band of Brothers".

Great scenes.

I think I know what happened.
See if this corrects things.

Hope so.
Thank you for being helpful on all items.

PS Oddly all photos showed up for me okay but now here at 8:30 pm disappearances happened.

Robert le Diable10 Mar 2020 7:19 p.m. PST

Got them all except the last-but-one, about BPC arriving with reinforcements. I anticipate, from the Band of Brothers photograph, that these reinforcements will include Austrian troops (but is that hope a forlorn one?). Good Luck, R le D (unreconstructed Jacobite).

Charles Grant would be proud.

The pictures all seem to be showing now. I had the same problem the first time that I read Bill's blog yesterday.

It was a fun game to play. I commanded the French piquets and some Highlanders with bows and arrows. The latter were especially effective against the Red Coats because my dice rolling was incredibly good early in the game.

Thank you Everyone for your help and interest!,

I reinserted all photos that disappeared.
Followed by checking several times.
All appears to be well.
---
My opinion is I caused the problem.
---
I started doing another AAR to finish the battle today but it won't be ready for several days. It had an amazing conclusion.
