IŽll get the Osprey New Vanguard 273 Medieval Cannon.
The date is odd though, 1326? WerenŽt cannon used in the seige of Metz..1324?

It is widely thought so. The Osprey web site says this :

"The first illustration of a cannon in Europe can be dated quite precisely to 1326."

looking at the "Look Inside" on Amazon there is an explanation that there's a Florentine document of 1326 referring to the purchase of cannon and shot for the Master of Bombards. The author speculates that the existence of such a term suggests that there was a history that predates 1326 by some years (but how many ? who knows? Until a handy piece of parchment is dug out by a research student….. )

Ally Pally cost me over £100.00 GBP, basically because TT combat were doing special offers. I also ordered pre-release* Black Seas.

*Because pre-order doesn't make sense.
