I happen to have twice as many men painted up as Green Mountain Boys as I need. I would like to make another unit out of them without having to repaint the whole lot. Does anyone know of a unit with matching uniforms that I can substitute my spares for, or to do minimal painting to make them the new unit? |

Sorry, I should note they are wearing green coats with red linings. |

You can turn them into loyalists. |

Hush your mouth! *sighs* I'm afraid you may be right if I can't find another unit to sub them for. |

Depending upon the degree of "uniformity" you want to achieve in your units, you could sprinkle them among other Continental units from the northern states? How about dismounted 4th (Moylan's) dragoons? While they are frequently depicted wearing a Tarleton helmet, I have also seen depictions of them wearing a standard three-corner hat. Throw in a bugle and it would work. |
