Artillery, Suvorov and Navy museums…
Wonders aplenty, a happy wargamer, but las no time to get in touch with the local gamers though that would have been good.

I was at the artillery museum a few years ago and several things interested me.

some miniature dioramas of sieges from the 16th century including a two tier artillery position

engineering models of how to fortify building from ww2 and later

plus cannons the signs said were captured from the british in the Crimean war – could these be those from balaclava?
