My latest blog post shows how I painted the Perry Miniature of King Richard III emerging from his Parking spot! The model is to go with the new rules set 'Never mind the Billhooks' due for publication later this year. More details in the blog:

I hope that you find it useful.

I see he found the horse he was looking for….

That's certainly the best title for a rule set ever!

Are horses allowed to use the HOV lane, or are they counted as pedestrians? Thanks for sharing your work, love the mini.

The fact that he's parked in a handicapped spot makes it funnier somehow.

Thank you for you comments. Just a bit of an update. The rules set 'Never mind the Billhooks' will be now given away with the July issue of Wargames Illustrated. I've seen the first draft and it looks very nice. I just hope that people will enjoy it as much as we have in play testing. If you are interested in the discovery of Richard III's remains, I have written a brief review of the visitor centre, including links to the official web site. Just click here:

Just a quick update. Following a delay caused by the COVID19 lockdown, work has restarted on the rules set'Never mind the Billhooks. As you can see, they are now at the point of going to the printers and will be included in the August issue of Wargames Illustrated as a free full colour supplement.

I hope that people have as much fun with this as we did play testing it!

Steve, The WI site doesn't refer to this being with the August issue – is it August or will it be September? I don't want to miss out on the Rules but there's nothing in the August issue resume that particularly interests me!

Hi, in my enthusiasm, I've got the date wrong. The supplement will be in the September issue, that will be published at the end of August. I'm sorry about the confusion!
