I love how HMGS sends out the artist's rendition of what the host will look like in some imaginary future, when in reality the April 1945 Reichstag Building looked better! Hey does anybody else wonder if the pool will look better that the pool in "Poltergeist," this time around? Personally I hope the discarded tricycle is still in that dirt hole in the courtyard. If so, I'm taking it! |

Yeah, I saw that. It was the picture of the outside of (new) front lobby area. |

Not getting impaled by a piece of rusted rebar sticking out of the ground will be a win for me. |

HMGS sent it out with the Cold Wars Reminder. |

I guess HMGS gave up mailings. |

I think that someone should make an epic 28mm model of the Host, and have a skirmish game between the Host Haters and the Host Lovers. Settle this once and for all. |

No Lucius your wrong They should make a 1 to 1 copy of the Host in all it's 1990's glory. They could run it like a LARP and Players could pay to relive the glory days. Only 1990's rules,Terrain and Miniatures would be allow. |

I'm with Wackmole. But I have to admit that bit of spam from HMGS is excellent CGI. (Evidently the programming isn't quite sophisticated enough to keep them from nagging the people who've already registered, but the graphic is first-rate.) Now, is there any chance of a VR system which completely replaces the new carpet? I put on my goggles and see something vaguely civilized instead? They keep telling everyone it's very expensive, but I've walked on better-looking paint tarps. |

Well, I guess we'll see what the place looks like in about two weeks. But don't fear, this will probably be the last time HMGS has a convention at the Host. Rumor has it that Cold Wars next year will be at the Ocean City MD convention center…hmmm, Ocean City in March, sounds wonderful doesn't it. I'll take the Host in whatever condition we find it over that option any day. |

Ocean City? Well, that makes sense. Goes with Timonium and the Baltimore Convention Center. After all, so many more gamers drive in from Atlantis than from the middle west. |

At CW last year i picked up some discarded bits and pieces to make a small rubble pile terrain piece. |
