Another one of my projects that's been sitting around for awhile waiting to be finished off. Small mecha and armoured vehicles piloted by the upper classes with lower class levy infantry and a transport. Inspired in part by the original WD fluff for Knights and Dune (mainly the film). Reasonably happy with how its turned out, but will probably continue to tinker with it. I think the infantry worked pretty well for a 'paint conversion' – now if someone does a WWI British infantry officer whose bald and happens to be carrying a small dog… Originally I wanted to have the transport a bit more decked in heraldry, but ran out of enthusiasm. In retrospect probably could have made a few more alterations to the transport – like removing the floatation tank from the rear ramp. Also swapping out the HMGs for something a bit heavier like a WWII era infantry gun.

The troops have a WWI vibe to me that I like

The figures are mainly early WWI British, Peter Pig with a few QRF, and the Standard bearers are from PP's Russian Civil War range.
