Just curious to see if anyone has bought and played, "Red Menace", the boardgame? It looks interesting, and fairly simple, though I'm not sure there are really many if any "decision points" in the game to make it truly entertaining. Apparently, it is designed as a solo game, but I suspect you could always game with two people as well. Looks like the 2nd Edition is being released, so I'm curious about both the 1st and 2nd Editions. Thoughts? |

Haven't played it myself but BGG is a good place for user comments and reviews: link link |

It seems to have the same issue that many solitaire games have in that the game is heavily scripted. Some gamers like that and are far more forgiving, so it may or not be fun for you. I've owned and played numerous solitaire games over the years and for every good one such as Avalon Hill's London Burning, there's two dozen that aren't very good or get bogged down in procedures. |
