The only problem is that Napoleon was not at Corunna. Soult was in command at Corunna, not Napoleon.

The farthest north Napoleon got was to Astorga which is about 130 miles southeast of Corunna.

The battle occurred on 15 January and Napoleon left Spain on the 17th because of the new threat from Austria. He arrived in Paris on 24 January.
