I am building a Fallschirmjäger force for the 1942-45 time period. I can find general battalion and regimental information with details about every element except the pioneer battalion and its assigned companies.
Would the Fallschirmjager pioneer company resemble the pioneer companies associated with the grenadier divisions; that is a small company HQ with three platoons each with 3 x 8-10 men squads and a platoon HQ? Each platoon would have flamethrowers (1 per squad?) and mining/de-mining and demolition/route clearance capabilities in addition to at least 1 MG34/42 LMGs per squad. Does this seem reasonable?

The only information I have comes from the Handbook on German Military Forces which basically says they are believed to be organized similar to the Infantry Division Pioneer Battalion.

That organization shows each company had three platoons each with 9 LMGs and 2 flamethrowers. It also had a weapons platoon with 2 HMG and 2 81mm Mortars.
