I've just set up a Soor 1745 game. Pics and links for further info at the address above.

It's looks like a very tough proposition for the Prussians, but then again, we are going to use Piquet!

Nice to see Piquet in action – I use peg boards for recording the turns, the clock, impetus and morale.

The east facing slope, which the cavalry charged up, and the south facing slope, where Frederick's infantry charged and eventually took the battery, are both extremely steep. So much so that there was quite a lot of dead ground at the foot of the slope, which helped Frederick.
