"Hotz Artworks Cleaned up their Act?" Topic

Anybody ordered from Hotz in the past six months or so and have any comments to share regarding turn around time?

Over a year ago and still nothing.

I ordered a western town mat from them about a year ago, no issues whatsoever. I've ordered from them three times or so over the last few years…always received my mats within a month or so. Seemingly I am lucky in this aspect.

Email first to check stock on what you want – I have done this, got a reply, and always got my order of in stock product promptly.

I haven't ordered recently, but never had a problem with them – even after others were complaining horribly about their service.

I've always received my orders within 3-4 weeks.

I made the mistake of making a special order with a 2" square grid. Never received it, but paid. Rip off.

My experience: I used Paypal. After not receiving my order, and not receiving responses to several emails asking about my order, as the date limit for protesting a Paypal transaction approached, I initiated said process, and low and behold I received a response from Hotz, and not too long after received my order.

Bottom line: do not feel any qualms about using something like the Paypal transaction protest process vis-a-vis Hotz or any other online merchant (regardless of claims of how nice a guy they might be, etc.). It's a simple arrangement, you give them $ and they give you a product.

Half his website seems dead links at the moment. Though given the link out to Drivethru that might be poor maintenance but cannot pull up the mats page

Always great service and received my mats in the U.K. some people seem to have had issues but not me. Happy customer
