The first one looked kind of like an eastern native american weapon. I was think it was all fun and games until the bans snap, then I saw his wound, am guessing guess that it could have been much worse. |

Just making a few Budget Maces to distribute them in various places about the home. Astonished to find there's such a quantity of similar video-clips out there. Mind you, the information and images re. Swords was pretty good, and the bearded laddie spoke with all the straight-faced conviction of a politician responding to a pointed question. |

A friend and I had this discussion once. Strangely we came to the conclusion a Bolo machete was superior to almost all swords. They have a sharp point, cutting edge, weight, and are stronger then almost all swords. As machetes goes they are lighter then most which helps when your swinging it for the hundredth time. Yes available at Wal-Mart. link and yes I may need professional help. |

I live in the You nited staytes of Uh murica. In this country we gots us a gun culture. I mean to do all my's zombie dispatchin' courtesy of fulminate of merc'ry. If youse fitin zombies with a blade youse either ain't been foraging hard enuff or you just trying to show off. Lemme know how that works out once that there handle gets slippery. |

One of the things a pommel is for is to stop the sword slipping out of your hand when fighting. Now things like machetes don't have pommels but I assume these days there are grips and gloves which provide enough friction to keep the blade in your hand. |

A baseball bat would likely be best; it won't get stuck into a target, is unlikely to break, doesn't need sharpening, is lighter, you are unlikely to cut yourself with it, gore won't cause it to rust, is quieter if it is dropped, in a pinch you can burn it to stay warm. |

Never understood why they do not just employ some agricultural machinery, rotating blades and steel balls horizontally at about head height and slowly drive into the hordes of zombies. I see local farmers drive by every day with just the right fittings. OK, the occasional kid or an achondroplastic might get through, but Rick and rest could have ended that series ages ago. (They should have done the moment that idiot with Lucille was written into it) |

The whole concept of zombie apocalypse is idiotic to start with. The most realistic zombie movie is Shaun of the dead, were the zombies causes about 1 night off chaos. And even that is probably overdoing it. But if you ignore that and just accept the premise it's a fun thing. |

I'll second the machete, easily the most available and does not require the training that other weapons would. Most of the machetes that I see on sale these days have excellent grips. I keep several in my garage for unruly brush or zombies. :-) |

You don't want zombie fluids on you so you would want a spear, and then a club for when they get to close. |

I agree with Deadhead: agricultural machinery is the answer. One tractor with a rotary mower (a.k.a. Bush Hog) would take out a hoard of zombies. |

Actually the video started with a commercial for UV-fixed glue, which looks like a great solution for repairing and assembling all sorts of models. |

Having studied the movement rates of yer zombie, I have come up with a foolproof survival plan in the event of a zombie apocalypse. I shall walk at a moderate pace in the opposite direction… |

Now there's a neat scratch build project for anyone with the talent and time. |
