Having my Russian army all done its down to filling out limbers for all those batteries, never going to get 1 for each I at least like to use 1 limber per battery while in movement. Once in place will use that limber to another battery moving. I place a 2 gun stand on the back part of the limber stand. The 1797 ( I think thats the designation) cassion is the 2nd scratch built of those I have.

Made the main body when I made the first one, at least 4 years ago. Sandwiched layers of wood of my scaps of troop stands. While the original picture is lost actually just found another. The original picture had a flat top this has a tent kind.
The reason finally got this one together was had to rob peter to pay paul with the wheels. Really could use a bunch of them to make more scratch vehicals. |
