That's great. I enjoyed the scene where he takes the Austrian gun by himself and then his buddy comes up, takes off his bearskin, pulls out TWO small bottles of wine and celebrates! You can't make this stuff up…

Thanks very much, Armand; I'll devote an afternoon to this soon, for fear the Link might disappear. Bought and read Coignet's Memoirs (in translation!) years ago, but have not seen this film/movie. Good Luck.
