Thanks Armand. I live very close to Waterford and know the history of the area quite well. It's refreshing to see someone else take an interest in re-posting something of our local history here for others to read about. |

Begorrah My paternal Grandad knew all about Waterford in the Civil War, as did my Mom about Tipperary next door. But it was a different Civil War, thousands of miles to the East, and their families were on opposing sides too. Great story. Armand I will now rate you 70/30 for treasures vs rubbish….that is along way from my original 40/60 split years ago. |

The destruction in Loudoun County probably had less impact on Mosby's raids that the wounding of Mosby shortly afterwards. |
