"…The initial ask will be made up of a number of figures which can represent a Soviet company in size. I have picked the VDV airborne OOB for the1980's as a guide. Standard Soviet organisation pretty much means they can used for many other forces to. The rewards will reflect the ability to change the force depending on your own ORBAT.

The Company HQ will consists of 3 leaders, a radioman and a medic.

Each of the infantry platoons will contain 3 infantry sections and a HQ section. A platoon will contain 1 leader, 3 RPG, 3 RPK , 3 AK74 with UGL, 1 Druganov Sharpshooter and 12 AK74 infantry. Each will have a number of variants, including RPG assistants and section leaders. Some figures will also carry the RPG-22 …"

Yes, I remember studying this in classes and in FMs back then … Fortunately we never had to get "wet" to see if the Intel was "accurate" in the field and on ops.
