One of the WW II legends of my youth was of the Americans flying shark-mouthed P-40s. Sad that they are all gone and I am an old man.

True heroes.

I have one of my father's books, "A Flying Tiger's Diary" by Charles Bond, that both the author and "Tex" Hill signed for him. He got to meet and talk with both of them when they visited the Arizona Wing of the CAF.
