I've recently finished two of the Phases of Mars series of alt-history anthologies, and they have rekindled my interest in this area.

Since folks on TMP have made some wonderful suggestions, what I am hoping to see is recommendations for novels/short story collections that deal with WWIII – European, Pacific or other locations.

Thanks!

Newt Gingrich and William Forstechen wrote a couple that were interesting---one on Pearl Harbor/Midway and one set in 1946 where Skorzeny raided the Oak Ridge nuclear site.

Scott Washburn's All Quiet on the Martian Front are outstanding!

The first four books center around North & South America.
His new book out next month has Middle east and Australia.
