And there are links available to all the other units histories of the First Team at 1cda.org/history I served in the division twice, in the mid 1970s when it was transitioning from TRI-CAP to an armored division and then in the early to mid 1980s when its mission was reinforcing NORTHAG as part of the III US Armored Corps.
