I still find myself buying and building up forces. I love the miniatures and have been on a mission to fill in holes in the forces with an Ebay purchase every now and again.

How about you?

Hmmmm, I seem to recognize those critters!

Someone's got to say it:

"Bugs, Mr. Rico!"

Stryderg08 Feb 2020 7:59 a.m. PST

I'm not sure I like the color choices, but I do like your brush work. And that terrain is wicked cool. Thanks for sharing.

I've never played the game, but I do have some Cougars and Grizzlies.

Jason O Mahony08 Feb 2020 3:08 p.m. PST

Check out Rebel minis 28mm range. They have a few of the old SST along with Mongooses Judge Dredd miniatures:

Also Agents of Gaming have some old stock:

Jason, thanks for the tip regarding Agents of Gaming!

Lost Wolf08 Feb 2020 8:13 p.m. PST

If you're interested, I have many, many, many boxes of the bugs and minis. Getting old and need to thin things a bit

Dynaman878909 Feb 2020 7:26 a.m. PST

Really nice miniatures – too bad they are from that abomination of a movie.

joedog09 Feb 2020 8:08 a.m. PST

Wish that Cougars and Grizzlies were available in plastic.

Large models in metal are just so difficult to work with. :(

But these are worth it.

How was the editorial quality of this rulebook? Was there a lot of errata for it?

dmebust Supporting Member of TMP09 Feb 2020 8:33 p.m. PST

Lost Wolf, I am interested. I am not able to PM you here on TMP. Please e-mail me directly regarding your miniatures. dmebust at yahoo dot com.

Thanks everyone, really enjoyed the conversation with all of you!

It's an ugly planet, a Bug planet.

By which I mean, I like your terrain.

I acquired quite a lot of these, but do to a work relocation, never got them on a table. Looks like it is time for a trip to the storage unit to see what I have stocked away. I recall Skinnies where hard to come by, so very happen to see Agents of Game have a few.

Coopman, the rule book is decently written. It is an action/reaction type game system. We had no problems picking it right up.

Xintao14 Feb 2020 9:44 p.m. PST

It's a solid game system. Ran a few Convention games withit. It was a shame that Mongoose imploded.

Here is a battle report I did back in 2007.

Great looking table.

Thanks much. I enjoyed your AAR. I like the train idea, different and the game certainly kept the MI busy.

cypherkk16 Feb 2020 8:00 a.m. PST

I have a few MI in a back unbuilt, a couple built. If you're interested. Unfortunately I sold off my rather huge bug force many, many years ago.

cypherkk please e-mail me direct with what you have and what you are asking for them. dmebust at yahoo dot com.

Placed an order with Agents of Gaming, picked up some great SST miniatures. Filling out the Skinny Forces, added to the Arachnid Force with an Overseer Bug, a bucket list item for me.
