Just curious how accurate the GHQ Models TO&E PDFs are for modern formations at 1 base equals 1 platoon.

Hard for me to say for a lot of stuff, but looks to be good for many I'm familiar with, at a ratio of 1 vehicle per 3 – 4 tanks, or so, depending upon how you want to slice it.

17 tanks in early US Cold War companies (Early – Mid West German ones too), dropping later to 14 (or less for the WG Army – later). Soviets have 10 – 13 tanks in their companies.

Stats rate the above at 4 and 3 tanks per company, respectively.

Interestingly/sadly, there are no lists for the Norwegians, Swedes, Danes, or Italians. Was thinking some amphibious landings vs. them by the Warsaw Pact might be entertaining. Also, no East Germans, Poles, etc., etc. (unless they're hidden under the USSR list – a lot of units were modeled after them, so that would make sense).
